Letter to the Diocese:

Siblings in Christ,

I am humbled and filled with joy to be a candidate for the 11th Bishop of New Hampshire, a diocese I both know and love. I live in Peterborough with my spouse, Albert. On most days, I commute over Temple Mountain and down Route 101 to Manchester, where I am blessed to serve as the Priest-in-charge of Grace Church.

Before my ordination, I spent decades in non-profit development, strategic planning, and social entrepreneurship. Alongside this work, I served in lay ministries focused on spiritual direction and young adult formation. Because of this, I see myself as a contemplative in action—an adept pastor and revitalization strategist who leads through immersive presence and deep listening. This unique blend of relational care and strategic acumen is the offering I bring in this moment of transition. We can transform the challenges of shifting demographics and tight resources into new opportunities for congregational renewal.

During the meet-and-greets, I look forward to hearing from each of you about the many "stones on the move" in our communities and seeing the faithful, alive, and inclusive ministries that are the foundation of our diocese. I seek to be a bishop for all of New Hampshire. If elected, I commit now to spending the season of Lent journeying across our state on a “Long Walk.” I want to listen deeply, place my feet on our sacred grounds, and witness where the Holy Spirit is at work in both our rural and urban communities as we love our neighbors.

I pair the heart of a pastor with the spirit of a creative builder. Together, we will steward our resources and develop a unified strategy for the vitality of our local churches—from Nashua to Colebrook, and Walpole to Portsmouth.

Let us keep one another in deep prayer as we listen attentively to the Holy Spirit.
